About the Librarian

 

Dr. Amar Nath Sharma is serving as Librarian at Post Graduate Government College, Sector-11, Chandigarh, playing a pivotal role in transforming the library into a modern digital knowledge centre. He has extensive experience in academic librarianship, having worked as Assistant Librarian at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering &Technology Longowal (2001–2006) and as Librarian at Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector-50, Chandigarh (2007–2024), along with experience at CRRID, Chandigarh. He has published more than 50 research papers in national and international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. With strong expertise in library science and information management, he is actively contributing towards the development of digital library services in alignment with national initiatives like One Nation One Subscription (ONOS).

3.      Working as Librarian Post Graduate Govt. College, Sector-11, Chandigarh since 26.08.2006.

4.      Government College of Commerce and Business Administration, Sector-50, Chandigarh April, 2007 to August, 2024 (Deputed).

5.      Present Position: Librarian at PGGC-11, Chandigarh.
